Fishes observed in Underwater observation tower
The fishes observed from the tower are natural ones. So the species and
the number of fishes vary in the time, day and season. More than 270 species
of fishes have been recorded through the windows so far. Visitors can always
observe 20-40 species of fishes all the year.

The underseascape around the tower can be seen on the Internet. This image
is shot by the one of the cameras installed by Ministry of the Environment
and can be updated once in 1 hour in the daytime. Not only the latest image
but also the past images are accumulated as a database and user can search
the image of the specified date. Images can be seen at the website "Internet Nature Information System" managed by Ministry of the Environment Government of Japan. Present
